Staffmis Absence Management includes absence forms, absence form workflow and absence form communications.
Absence Forms : There are four major absence management forms; Holiday Forms, Time In Lieu Forms, Sickness Forms and a Time In Lieu Award Form. Staff select the form which is appropriate to their requirement, complete the form and submit to initiate the absence form workflow.
Absence Form Workflow : This workflow starts from a submitted absence form and sends the requirement to the member of staff's direct line manager. The line manager approves or rejects the request and accordingly the form continues on its workflow path. If requests are approved, the requested hours / days are noted on the member of staff's record and the hours / days are published on the appropriate rotas. Notifications are sent to the appropriate Rota Manager to arrange cover and also copy goes to HR.
Absence Form Communications : Absence management has its own dedicated communications channel. This channel carries all absence communications so that a member of staff is kept informed of the status of their absence request submission at all times.
