Internal Communications
Internal Communications
Communicating with a deskless workforce is a challege even through email or one of the modern popular off the shelf intranet or enterprise social media systems. It's not necesarily a matter of the action of contacting a member of staff, it is as much about a member of staff's ability and willingness to engage and the culture of that engagement.
Staffmis internal communications bases on an old school approach to communications using specific, dedicated channels for communications (memos, messages, news, to dos, notices, discussions and polls and surveys). This is done for simplicity of understanding. Each individual communication has a high level of accountability, enabling a comunications manager to be able to quickly and easily see the extent of engagement, and provides the ability to escalate engagement with any single communication to the point of limiting access to any other part of the system until the communication has been concluded.
Communications can of course be targeted to individual users, by location, by job role, by department or indeed by group.
